ActionAid Nigeria is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the position Finance Advisor on the Strengthening Collaborative Actions and Leveraging Partnerships for Expansion and Use of NSR (SCALE-NSR) project:
Finance Advisor, Strengthening Collaborative Actions and Leveraging Partnerships for Expansion and Use of NSR project (SCALE-NSR) - Abuja
The post holder will ensure maintenance of adequate financial integrity in supporting quality and timely data input for generation of financial reports, review and analyze accounting ledgers. S/he will also contribute to strengthening the internal control and accounting systems of AAN and partner organizations.
Person Specifications
Education/Qualifications
- First degree in Accounting/Financeis essential.
- Relevant accounting professional certification is desirable.
Experience
- At least four (4) years post NYSC experience, three (3) of which should have been spent in a finance position is essential.
- Experience in grant management is essential.
- Experience implementing financial control systems is essential.
Development sector experience as a finance person is desirable.
Skill/Abilities
- Sound practical Knowledge of any accounting software and Spreadsheets.
- Experience in using Microsoft Dynamic 365/SUN Accounting software would be an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- High sense of integrity
- Accuracy and attention to details.
