ActionAid Nigeria is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the position of Programme Intern on the Strengthening Collaborative Actions and Leveraging Partnerships for Expansion and Use of NSR (SCALE-NSR) project:
Programme Intern, Strengthening Collaborative Actions and Leveraging Partnerships for Expansion and Use of NSR Project (SCALE-NSR) - Abuja
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the effective programme implementation of the SCALE-NSR project. S/he will also support the Governance unit programme activities.
The Intern position is an opportunity offered by ActionAid Nigeria (AAN) for young graduates to earn a post NYSC experience. It is therefore both a learning and value-adding relationship between interns and AAN. The intern is expected to take advantage of the space offered for experience gathering, self-development, while providing quality service to ActionAid Nigeria.
Person Specifications
Education/Qualifications
- First degree in arts/humanities/social sciences or other related fields is essential.
Experience
- Relevant NYSC experience is essential.
- Experience in Programmes and administration is essential.
- Experience in supporting training/ meetings is essential.
Skill/Abilities
- Fluency in spoken and written English language.
- Excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent (proven) interpersonal skills
- Multi-tasking and negotiation skills
