The stakeholders consultative forum organized on the 20th of May 2021 at the Rockview Hotel, Wuse, Abuja by ActionAid Nigeria with funding form Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF), in collaboration with the office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) in pursuance of the “System and Structure Strengthening Approach Against Radicalization to Violent Extremism (SARVE II) Project (Phase II).

The event was organized to provide a platform for multi-stakeholders’ appraisal of the current Policy Framework and National Action Plan (PF and NAP) of the Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE) in Nigeria and discuss ways Religious Leaders, Traditional Leaders, Community Leaders and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) can strengthen its role in providing an enabling environment for preventing or countering violent extremism in Nigeria and in order to preserve community and religious values of culture, tradition, moral and religion.
